We consider how you move through your home, how individual rooms connect and whether there are opportunities to improve the relationship between different areas of the property.

This is particularly important when considering extensions, open-plan living or significant alterations to an existing home.

When an entire property needs attention, it can be difficult to distinguish between what needs to happen now and what can wait.

We help identify the areas that should take priority and the decisions that may have implications elsewhere within your project.

Sometimes the solution you initially have in mind is not the only possibility.

We look at your home objectively and identify opportunities that may improve the way it functions, whether through reconsidering how existing rooms are used, improving connections or challenging assumptions about what needs to change.

This is not a detailed Interior Design service.

We are not designing individual rooms, sourcing furniture, specifying products or finishes, creating detailed layouts or developing complete colour schemes during the consultation.

Instead, we are establishing what your home needs to achieve before deciding exactly how it should be designed.

 Architects and interior designers bring different expertise to a renovation, and the strongest projects often benefit from both.

Your architect may be considering planning requirements, structure, building regulations and the architectural form of your property.

Our expertise lies in considering the home from the inside out.

We think about how you will move through it, where everyday activities will take place, how rooms relate to one another and whether the proposed changes will genuinely improve the experience of living in your home.

This can be particularly valuable before architectural plans become too advanced.

An extension may provide additional square footage, but more floor area does not automatically result in a home that functions better.

By considering how the interior needs to work at an early stage, we can identify questions and opportunities that may be valuable to explore with your architect before significant decisions become fixed.

 Our Home Strategy Consultation is a standalone professional service.

For some clients, the strategic direction established during the consultation provides exactly the clarity they need to move their renovation forward.

For others, it marks the beginning of a wider journey with Rejig Interiors.

Because we have considered your home as a whole, the next step will not necessarily be the same for every project.

We may identify that one particular room requires more focused attention, that your kitchen or bathroom should be addressed first, that architectural plans would benefit from further consideration or that the property is ready to progress into a complete Interior Design service.

Where further professional support would benefit your project, we will explain what we believe the appropriate next stage should be and provide a clear proposal for our involvement.

Our role is not simply to validate the plans you already have.

We are there to ask questions, identify opportunities, challenge ideas where appropriate and help you understand where your investment could make the greatest difference to the way you live within your home.

Sometimes that means confirming that you are already heading in the right direction.

Sometimes it means recognising an opportunity you had not previously considered.

Both can be incredibly valuable before committing to the next stage.
