REJIG INTERIORS – CONSULTATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. INTRODUCTION
These Consultation Terms of Business apply to consultation services provided by Rejig Interiors Limited (“Rejig Interiors”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By booking and paying for a consultation, you (“the Client”, “you” or “your”) agree to these Terms of Business.
These terms relate specifically to our initial consultation services. If you subsequently appoint Rejig Interiors Limited for further interior design, procurement, supply, project coordination or other professional services, a separate proposal and/or agreement will be issued setting out the scope, fees and terms applicable to those services.

Rejig Interiors Limited provides interior design consultancy, design, specification, procurement and project coordination services.
3. PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTATION
Our consultation service is designed to provide professional guidance, establish the requirements of your project and help determine the appropriate next steps.
Depending on the consultation booked, this may include:
Where appropriate, measurements may also be taken during the consultation to assist our understanding of the space.
Measurements taken during an initial consultation are for preliminary design and assessment purposes only unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. INITIAL PROJECT CONSULTATIONS
Where a consultation is booked in relation to a substantial, multi-room or whole-home project, it may be treated as an Initial Project Consultation.
An Initial Project Consultation allows Rejig Interiors Limited to visit the property and obtain an overall understanding of:
The Initial Project Consultation is intended to establish the overall project brief and is not intended to provide detailed individual design solutions for every room within the property.
Following the consultation, where appropriate, Rejig Interiors Limited may prepare a separate proposal setting out recommended design, procurement, supply and/or project coordination services together with the associated professional fees.
The value or anticipated construction cost of the wider project does not form part of the consultation fee unless expressly agreed otherwise.
5. SCOPE OF THE CONSULTATION
A consultation is a standalone professional advisory service.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, a consultation does not include:
Any additional services will be quoted separately.
6. ROOM-SPECIFIC CONSULTATIONS
Where a consultation is advertised or booked on a room-by-room basis, the price applies only to the number of rooms or spaces included within the booking.
If additional rooms or spaces are introduced during the consultation which were not included in the original booking, Rejig Interiors Limited is not obliged to provide detailed advice in relation to those additional areas.

This clause does not prevent an Initial Project Consultation from considering the overall scope of a multi-room or whole-home project in accordance with Clause 4.
7. CONSULTATION AS THE FIRST STAGE OF A PROJECT
Substantial interior design projects generally begin with an initial consultation.
The purpose of this stage is to allow Rejig Interiors Limited to understand the property and proposed works sufficiently to recommend an appropriate professional service.
We are not normally able to provide a detailed quotation for full design, procurement or project coordination services until the project requirements have been established through this initial stage.
Any indication of potential fees, product costs, construction costs or project budgets discussed before or during the consultation should be treated as preliminary unless expressly confirmed in writing.
8. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Consultation fees are payable in full before the consultation takes place unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A consultation is not confirmed until:
All prices will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices shown to consumers include VAT at the prevailing applicable rate.
No appointment should be treated as secured solely because a provisional date has been discussed.
Rejig Interiors Limited reserves the right to offer a provisionally discussed appointment to another client until the booking requirements above have been completed.
9. CONSULTATION FEE CREDIT
Where the Client proceeds with a qualifying full interior design service following the consultation, the consultation fee will be credited against the professional design fee, provided that:
The credit applies only to the professional interior design fee and cannot be applied against product purchases, procurement charges, project coordination fees, contractor costs, travel expenses or other third-party costs unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
The consultation fee is not refundable and has no cash value. If the Client does not proceed with a qualifying full interior design service within 30 days of the consultation date, the credit will expire.
10. CLIENT INFORMATION AND PREPARATION
To enable us to provide an effective consultation, you agree to provide all reasonably requested information before the appointment.

You are responsible for ensuring that information provided to us is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Rejig Interiors Limited will not be responsible for errors, additional costs or recommendations arising from information which is inaccurate, incomplete or withheld.
11. ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY
Where the consultation takes place at your property, you are responsible for ensuring that:
If we are unable to carry out the consultation because access has not been provided, this may be treated as a client cancellation.
12. MEASUREMENTS
Any measurements taken during a consultation are intended to assist with preliminary assessment and discussion.
Unless a separate measured survey or detailed design service has been commissioned, measurements taken during a consultation must not be relied upon for manufacture, construction, installation or ordering purposes.
Final dimensions should be checked and verified by the relevant contractor, installer, manufacturer or specialist before work is undertaken or products are ordered.
13. DESIGN ADVICE
Advice provided during a consultation represents our professional opinion based on:
Ideas and recommendations discussed during an initial consultation are conceptual and may change during detailed design development.
A consultation should not be interpreted as a complete technical or construction specification.
14. THIRD-PARTY AND TECHNICAL ADVICE
Rejig Interiors Limited provides interior design advice and does not replace specialist professional advice where this is required.
Depending on the project, further input may be required from parties including:
You must obtain any necessary permissions, approvals and specialist advice before implementing recommendations where required.
15. EXISTING AND CONCEALED CONDITIONS
Our consultation is based on visible conditions and information reasonably available at the time of the appointment.
We cannot be responsible for conditions which are concealed, inaccessible or not reasonably discoverable during an initial consultation.

Recommendations may therefore need to be altered if additional information becomes available or previously concealed conditions are discovered.
16. PROJECT BUDGETS AND COST INFORMATION
Any discussion of project costs, budgets, product prices or construction allowances during the consultation is indicative only unless stated otherwise in writing.
Final costs may vary depending on:
Clients undertaking refurbishment or construction works should maintain an appropriate contingency for unforeseen costs.
17. CONSULTATION DELIVERABLES
Any specific deliverables included in the consultation will be stated at the time of booking.
Where a written consultation summary or report is included, this will provide a record of the principal matters discussed and recommendations made.

18. CHANGES FOLLOWING THE CONSULTATION
Recommendations are based on the Client's requirements and information available at the consultation.
If you subsequently change:

19. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING
You may request to reschedule your consultation by giving Rejig Interiors Limited at least 48 hours' notice.
Where reasonable notice is provided, we will endeavour to transfer the booking to an alternative available date.
Where you cancel or request to reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, Rejig Interiors Limited may deduct or charge an amount reflecting the reasonable losses directly caused by the cancellation, including professional time already committed or costs reasonably incurred.
Any cancellation charge will be proportionate and will take into account any reasonable steps we are able to take to reduce our loss.
Where appropriate, any balance remaining after such deductions will be refunded.
If you fail to attend an agreed consultation or fail to provide access to the property without reasonable notice, this may be treated as a late cancellation.
Nothing in this clause affects your statutory cancellation rights where they apply.
20. CANCELLATION BY REJIG INTERIORS LIMITED
On rare occasions, we may need to rearrange an appointment due to illness, emergency, circumstances outside our reasonable control or another legitimate reason.
Where this occurs, we will offer an alternative appointment.
If we are unable to provide the consultation and no suitable alternative can be agreed, any payment for services not provided will be refunded.
We are not responsible for indirect losses arising solely from the rearrangement of a consultation where the rearrangement is outside our reasonable control.
21. STATUTORY 14-DAY CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Where you enter into the consultation contract online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance, you may have a statutory right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
The cancellation period normally expires 14 days after the contract is entered into.
If you would like your consultation to take place before the end of the statutory 14-day cancellation period, you must expressly request that Rejig Interiors Limited begins providing the service during that period.
By making that request, you acknowledge that:
Where applicable, we may ask you to confirm this request and acknowledgement as part of the booking process.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have.
22. REFUNDS
Where a refund is legally due or agreed by Rejig Interiors Limited, it will be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Any lawful deduction relating to services already performed or reasonable losses arising from cancellation will be explained where applicable.
23. TRAVEL AND LOCATION
Consultation pricing may include travel within a stated geographical radius from our studio or business location.
Where a property falls outside the included area, additional travel time, mileage, accommodation or other reasonable travel expenses may apply.
Any applicable additional charge will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
24. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All concepts, ideas, sketches, drawings, layouts, documents, reports, written recommendations, specifications and other materials produced by Rejig Interiors Limited remain our intellectual property unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Following payment of the relevant consultation fee, the Client may use consultation materials provided to them for their personal residential project.
The Client may not, without our prior written consent:
The Client must not use artificial intelligence or other automated tools to reproduce, adapt, reverse-engineer or create derivative versions of Rejig Interiors Limited's design work without our prior written consent.
Nothing in this clause prevents the Client from providing relevant information to contractors or other professionals where reasonably necessary to implement their own project.
25. PHOTOGRAPHS AND PROJECT INFORMATION
Any use by Rejig Interiors Limited of photographs of a Client's completed home for marketing, portfolio, editorial or social media purposes will be subject to any permissions or arrangements agreed with the Client.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
26. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Rejig Interiors Limited will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the above, Rejig Interiors Limited is not responsible for losses caused by:
We do not accept responsibility for indirect or consequential losses where it would be lawful and reasonable to exclude such liability.
27. THIRD-PARTY CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS
Any recommendation or discussion of a third-party contractor, supplier or specialist during the consultation does not constitute a guarantee of that party's work, products, availability, pricing or performance.
Unless otherwise stated in a later written agreement, contracts entered into directly between the Client and third-party contractors or suppliers are separate from the Client's contract with Rejig Interiors Limited.
28. FUTURE DESIGN AND PROCUREMENT SERVICES
A consultation does not oblige either party to proceed with any further services.
Where Rejig Interiors Limited is invited to continue with the project, a separate proposal and/or agreement may be issued covering services including:
No further appointment will exist until the relevant scope and fees have been agreed.
29. COMPLAINTS
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our consultation service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

30. DATA PROTECTION
Personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
31. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
32. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms of Business from time to time.
The terms applicable to your consultation will be those in effect when your booking is made, unless a change is required by law or is otherwise agreed with you.
33. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights regarding where legal proceedings may be brought under applicable consumer law.
